Jogo de luta 2D estilo versus, desenvolvido pela SNK e publicado pela SEGA. Além do Mega Drive, o jogo também foi lançado para Arcade (MVS), Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PSP, PS Vita, Super Nintendo, Switch, Turbografx-CD, Wii e Xbox One, bem como nas coletâneas Art of Fighting Anthology (PlayStation 2 / PlayStation 4), SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 (PSP / PlayStation 2 / Wii) e NeoGeo Online Collection Complete Box Joukan (PlayStation 2), além de estar na memória dos consoles Neo Geo Mini, Neo Geo X e SNK NEOGEO MVSX.

No Mega Drive, além desta versão regular, o game também foi lançado através do Sega Channel.
